Women's Mountain Mindfulness 

Becky is passionate about the connection between time spent in the beauty of the outdoors, and the positive physical and mental impacts this has on wellness. 

Why walk?

Being active is beneficial for both mental and physical health. Exercise helps to reduce the risk of developing illnesses such as some cancers, diabetes and heart disease. Activities in natural surroundings such as the Mountains have also been shown to contribute to positive mental wellbeing. When we exercise our brain releases chemicals which help to combat feelings of anxiety, stress and depression.

As well as being good for you, walking in the mountains is just good fun! Especially with friends; old or new.

Bring a group of your favourite girls and treat yourself to this mental wellbeing weekend. Enjoy the beauty and solitude of the Welsh Mountains whilst being led by a qualified instructor all at the same time as raising money for Charity! Arrive on the evening of the 28th ready for your big challenge on Sunday 29th. 10% of your ticket price will go towards the mental health charity 'Mind'. Feel free to fundraise for other charities yourselves by getting people to sponsor your challenge. 

Guided/supported walk in the Welsh Mountains paced to suit all abilities and needs with qualified Mountain Leaders, first aid trained and insured.

On Saturday

evening, enjoy dinner

and a talk with Aimee Leigh;

Mental Health nurse, psychotherapist, yoga teacher and author of 'Fu*k Fear; How to get the life you truly want.'  On Sunday morning join Aimee for an optional yoga session before donning your walking boots and heading into the mountains. All included in your ticket.
